Nature: The Most Effective Drug

Nature is the physical world that is not controlled by humans, such as wild plants and animals, earth and rocks, and the weather (Longman Dictionary). Nature is a vital part of the world which man really needs to survive and thrive. Nature interacts with every other aspect on earth for the advancement of the earth. In fact, every thing and animal is made from this nature and originated from this nature.

All the material items which man uses on earth are all made from this nature. Nature encompasses so many things, and sometimes it includes the non-physical. The plants, the animals, the rocks, the mountains, the rivers, the air and men are all part of this nature. And as naturalists believe, the world was ordinarily arranged the way it is because of the uniqueness of nature.

However, there is a problem: man has refused to respect nature and man has often ignored nature with all its benefits and goodies. This of course has led to chaos and suffering among the human population and the whole world. The world now faces a lot of environmental problem; the biggest of them all is the climate change which is a threat to lives on earth.

We are not concerned with the degradation of the environment or the harm it portends; in this article, there will be a look at how nature is an effective drug for all forms of maladies. Nature is so effective that it is a solution to different type of human problem, which has to do with the well-being of individuals. It solves physiological, psychological as well as sociological problems among men. Psychologically, it brings peace of the mind and restores sanity to an insane fellow. Physiologically, it cures the body of different harmful and dangerous ailments. Sociologically, it solves social and personal problems, and sometimes it serves as a material of connection among individuals.

There have been stories of people who had been inflicted with incurable diseases; these diseases had resisted all the attempts to cure them. The victims of these diseases had gone from place to place searching for solution, but they couldn’t find any. They almost lost hope. However, they were introduced to the wonders of nature and its effectiveness. Most of them were cured of the illnesses that had resisted all treatments. This is what nature can do.

The problem of man as I have indicated earlier is man’s disrespect of nature and the abuse of nature. Humans have become so intelligent that there are so many drugs in the market which cure different illnesses, but these drugs are not effective all the time. Nature offers the best. And although there is problem with the quantity during prescription, man assimilates herbal and natural drugs more than the handmade drugs. For the betterment and the survival of the earth, man should be willing and able to respect and take care of the natural environment.

The leaves of trees, the bark of trees, root of trees and shrubs and the fluid from trees and shrubs all cure different forms of illnesses. Malaria, typhoid fever, arthritis, stomach ache and so many other illnesses can be cured with the natural material. After all, the handmade drugs are made from these natural materials. It doesn’t cause any harm if men choose to be more natural.

Reasons why cure by Nature is better:
1.      It is cheaper.
2.      The items are all around man and near to man. So, it is readily available.
3.      It is more effective.
4.      It is a sure way to avoid bad and expired drugs for countries where the sell of fake drugs still thrive.
5.      There are little or no side effects.

It has come to the time when men should begin to respect nature and all that it offers to man. Apart from the cure of different ailment, nature gives man and animals a lot. Man as it has been written at the beginning of this article cannot survive without nature. And nature and man interacts to a large extent. The best way to remain healthy, cure illnesses and have total rest of the mind is by connecting to nature.
