HOW TO OVERCOME A TOUGH BOSS


Many people do not feel comfortable any time they are working in a place controlled by a tough, difficult boss. They get to be apprehensive any day they are at work for this reason. Every day you come to work, there is always a high probability of a shouting or a quick, sharp snap at you. This often makes you feel uncomfortable in your work places.

Most times, people are overjoyed in securing a new job, and this is more felt when the person has been unemployed for quite some time. The joy is usually boundless and far reaching. However, the joy tends to die down when the newly employed person gets to discovers that there are problems in the job process or in the human relationship of people there. It is often noted that the good salary a person must have felt great to be offered at the point of interview and entry begins to make him sad.

Most irate bosses are very critical of this factor, and this is because they are very concerned about the amount of clean work you are able to deliver. To overcome tough and harsh bosses, stick to the delivery of a clean and near perfect work. 3. DEVELOP A PROACTIVE NATURE: Most bosses, especially tough bosses, love it when a worker is proactive. They even fall greatly in love with the person if the proactive nature includes the person not asking the boss of what should be done, instead it is the worker performing actions and later presenting it as a completed and near perfect task to the boss. In this kind of proactive nature of a worker, even a tough boss will be pleased. This factor has to be also put in place if you are a worker looking forward to an increase in the good salary.


4. STUDY TEMPERAMENT: Studying temperament and knowing how to manage the personalities of people is very important in human relations. It is pertinent that an individual gets to study different temperaments and how to associate with people first even before he applies for a job. It is only with the study of temperaments that one gets to understand why some people act the way they do. The individual gets to understand that some people do get angry for no serious reason in particular. Some are more jovial than the rest, and some people become moody for little or no reasons. There is no wrong if an individual is anti-social and delivers good work; it is good. However, you must know that there may also be other people interested in that your role, who are more social and happier in their relations with the boss and their colleagues.

7. MAINTAIN GOOD WORK ETHICS: This is the most basic way of overcoming a touch boss. It is also the most common method of career advancement as to be considered serious for promotion; you first have to maintain good work ethics. Maintaining good work ethics helps in getting on the good side of the boss and working well with the Human Resources Manager of the company. Simple work ethics like punctuality, good sense of dressing, calmness and others have to be adhered to to overcome a tough boss.



8. INTRODUCE INNOVATIVE PLANS: Difficult bosses no matter how hard they are get pleased when a worker goes extra mile for the further growth of the company. If you are employed for a role, endeavor to make innovative plans for the improvement of the company in order to get on the good side of the boss. Bosses like workers who think outside the box and bring in innovative methods and plans for the growth of the company. If you have this kind of boss, avoid him, do your possible best to avoid him. If he is going to the rest room, move to the establishment’s cafeteria. If he is heading to his office, stay put in your cubicle or in your office. Stay far away at a very great distance when you have tried your best and it never works. While doing this, be looking for other alternatives to that job!
