Medicinal Uses of Onions




    Onion is a bulb plant that is used by people mostly for cooking. It is good for the preparation of all types of food, it adds to the taste and flavor of that food. It contains several nutrients that the body needs. In this post, however, we will not discuss the nutritional value, instead, we will discuss the medicinal value of onions.
   The parts of the onion include the leaves and the bulb. It contains Riboflavin
   The Medicinal Values of Onions include:
1.      Insomnia: Chew one bulb every night.
2.      Loss of Memory: Chew ½ bulb every morning and night.
3.      Hypertension: Grind/blend 5 bulbs of onions with 1 bottle of honey. Take 4 dessert spoons twice daily.
4.      Diabetes: Chew one bulb every morning and night.
5.      Cough/Cold: Mix juice with honey and take 2 dessert spoons twice daily.
