The Good Tree: Gmelina

This tree has a slender bark with a fine stem. The botanical name of this tree is gmelina arborea. The name of this tree was taken from the name of the botanist Johann George Gmelin, and it was named by Carl Linnaeus.

This tree is grown in Asia and Africa. In Nigeria for instance, it is grown in school environments and in government areas. This stem of the tree is hard and strong, and the wood from this tree last longer than the wood of most trees. This tree has some green and yellow succulent seeds that scents so nice and fills up the air of where the trees are abundant.

In some areas, it is an ornamental and economic plant. The most wonderful aspect of this tree is the good wood that comes from it and the good air that emanates from it, but sometimes, this tree’s scent can be disturbing.
