Causes of cough
Cough is a viral disease. It can be caused by
infectious and non-infectious disease. The infectious disease is caused by
pathogens, and it is communicable, especially in a crowded environment. The
non-infection cough is caused by environmental and health factors. The bad
state of the environment can cause cough, and cough-related illnesses can also
cause cough.
Cigarette smoking can cause cough – chronic cough.
Dusts, pollens, industrial chemicals, pollution and low environmental humidity
can cause cough. Other illnesses like asthma and several lung diseases can
cause cough. Sinus infection and the infection of the throat or the external
ear or the chest can also cause cough.
Stress can also cause cough. Cough can also be
caused by the emergence or the future appearance of an illness like malaria.
Cough is believed to be the announcer of the coming malaria and typhoid
sometimes.
