Yeast infection on skin is called cutaneous candidiasis, and Yeast infection is caused by the fungi called Candida. It happens when yeast grows excessively on the skin and causes itchy rash on the skin. The affected part where the yeast grows has different color from the rest of the skin. Sometimes, it looks close to what is obtained on the skin of someone suffering from a fungi infection. Yeast infection is not contagious.
Yeast infection affects all parts of the body, the neck, the back, the stomach, the hand, but it could be embarrassing when it occurs on the face. The infection most likely appears in warm, creased area of the body including the armpit and the groin. It is mostly common among people who are obsess, people taking antibiotics, and diabetic patients.

Candida can cause diaper rash on babies. It can cause oral thrush, which is a form of Candida infection. It also causes virginal yeast infections. To combat the growth and spread of this yeast, the affected individual has to buy effective anti-bacterial and anti-fungi creams, and rub them on the affected part. Though, most anti-fungi cream do not clear it totally, they at least make it go away for the present time.
